A Summer to remember...

Over the years In Your Dreams have made a name for ourselves at certain UK based festivals and this year we continued to return to festivals such as Wilderness and Lovebox to embellish the crowds and make each festival goer feel as fabulous as the next. As we enter the autumn months, we thought this was the perfect opportunity to reflect over another successful summer festival tour. 

GOTTWOOD 

This year our festival season ran from June to September with Gottwood festival being the first stop. A weekend spent in the most incredible settings in Holyhead, Wales is definitely something we look forward to each year.
As always, the Dream Team created some incredible work throughout Gottwood festival! 

LOVEBOX & CITADEL 

July soon came around and we assembled another amazing Dream Team to take part in our annual Lovebox and Citadel festivities. The summer sun was definitely on our side in London over this weekend and we soon had a queue of festival attendees wanting to experience a full In Your Dreams makeover.

Our intricate headpiece and chestpiece gems were the best-seller, with some amazing designs being created.

All of our artists have become a little festival family over the years and we couldn’t ask for a better team of creatives to work with! In the words of Dream Team artist Tasha “sometimes even a Dreamer needs fixing"

WILDERNESS 

A total dream destination in amongst the Oxfordshire countryside, we took our biggest festival Dream Team and made IYD history by showcasing our newest festival shop…The In Your Dreams beauty salon.
To help the crowds fit in with the fabulous themes wilderness festival has each year, the beauty salon team were offering everything from full faces of makeup and hair braiding, to gel nails and glitter looks.

As well as the newest set up we also were based in our classic locations, the Secret Emporium; the perfect haven for any festival shopper, with the tent being full of small businesses and traders showcasing their clothes, accessories and sunglasses as well as much more, and our main stand; positioned in the night market on route to the infamous valley, the main stand was a one stop shop for festival makeovers whether it be customers simply coming to purchase products or wanting to book in for a full themed makeover!

It’s always lovely to have returning customers from previous years and we saw a lot of familiar faces coming back for more this year. We LOVE how involved everyone gets with the set themes for each day of Wilderness and 2018 saw themes such as creatures of the night, 1920’s Club Weimar and the final day being a party to celebrate the last day on earth.

The aims of wilderness and the community surrounding it are truly amazing. Their aim is to inspire, challenge and enrich your lives. Collectors and creatives, we curate with an open heart and an ambitious mind. They believe that “everyone is entitled to be a part of a community and celebration. You are as important as the artists who create it. We aim to throw open minds to new ideas and experiences. We applaud acts of kindness, and hope to be the setting for new friendships and interactions.”

ELROW

With a few weeks to prepare after Wilderness, we then set off to Elrow Town Festival right on our doorstep in the heart of London.

This year being our second year to attend Elrow Town, we expected nothing less than a fully immersive production experience from the producers that create an iconic elrow show every time without fail.

We were set up close to the main stage which allowed us to enjoy the music throughout the weekend whilst embellishing guests! We also had a stand within the VIP section of the festival to get the VIP party goers fully glammed up too.

Our Dream Team had the pleasure of adorning some familiar faces with beautiful IN YOUR DREAMS style embellishments. Laura Crane, India Reynolds as well as the lovely ladies from glamour magazine!

After a fun fuelled weekend of Elrow, the team packed up the stand and before we knew it our last Dream Team were on their way to Festival No.6 this week for the seventh and final festival of 2018!

FESTIVAL NO.6

Festival No.6 was an amazing end to our 2018 festival season with so many festival-goers coming to visit us and allowing us to use our creative magic. Despite the rain we had such a great time and met some really cool people. 

Thank you to all of the Dream team who attended festivals and the stand managers for making everything run smoothly, and a big thank you to all of you who came and visited us at our stands, we can't wait to see you again next year!
