Behind The Scenes: Cloud 9 Collection Photoshoot

We're super excited to announce that on the 1st October we'll be launching the first phase of our brand new Cloud 9 Collection which features three mesmerizingly beautiful cosmetic pigments. These carefully developed, super-saturated shades have an intense colour payoff. They are extremely versatile and blendable and last all day without streaking or caking! 

Alongside this collection we're also launching our Glitter and Pigment Fixative which replaces our original top selling glitter beauty balm. This new advanced formula is quick drying, waterproof, smudge-proof and lasts for up to 24 hours!

For this collection we wanted to do something we hadn't done before and treat our dreamers to a behind the scenes look at our photoshoot so we invited along the incredible ChannieB to create a BTS video as well as sharing some snaps from our team, models and photographer. 

North 17 Studios was the perfect location for the shoot; the industrial style feel was exactly what we were aiming for and we took full advantage of their shipping containers as a backdrop, as well as using their indoor studio. Photographer Sarah Louise Johnson captured the scene beautifully and we CANNOT WAIT to show you the finished model shots. 

We have to say a massive thank you for our incredible models Penelope (aka Pennold) and Jourdan, we couldn't have asked for better models to show off our new collection!

We met Penelope at Secret Garden Party in 2015 when she worked on the Rosa Bloom festival stand and fate had it that our stand was right next to theirs. We were always blown away by Penelope's style and makeup and have since watched her grow into a very successful makeup artist and influencer. 

We met Jourdan through our Front Of House, festival dreamer Harrison after they went to performing arts school together. This is the first time we've worked with Jourdan, having spotted her hilarious Love Island rants and infectious smile on Instagram, plus hearing her present on Represent Radio, we knew we had to work together. 

Our head artists Natasha DeCazalet and Imani Naghton were on fire and created some of their best looks yet using our pigments, fixative and other IN Your Dreams products. They also used a range of products from our amazing sponsors Boots, Aussie, GHD, Beautify, Duo, Ardell, Yardley London, Nanshy, Flormar, LA Girl, Milani and Iconic Bronze. The incredible clothes worn by our models were gifted from our friends at Burnt Soul Clothing, Jane Bowler and Claudia Pink. We always try to think outside the box on our shoots to create different looks and feels and have been massively inspired by HBO's new series Euphoria featuring Zendaya. The disorientating and hazy style of Euphoria paired with the emotionally evocative make-up made for perfect inspo for our Cloud 9 collection. We held prisms and crystals against our lenses to create out of this world shimmering effects, we're obsessed!
