Ibiza Closing Parties 2018

Well Dreamers, we bid a fond farewell to Summer 2018 on the island. It’s been a whirlwind of back to back closing fiestas for weeks on end; with islanders and tourists flocking in a frenzy for one last stomp of the season… and then maybe one more!

We had the privilege of being part of 2 of the best closing parties on the island… our residencies at Glitterbox at Hi Ibiza and Rumors at Destino crescendoing to a massive climax to end this incredible summer.

Glitterbox Closing; with its stellar lineup featuring the likes of Dimitri From Paris, Roger Sanchez, Joey Negro and Defected Head Honcho Simon Dunmore to name a few. Disco house choons spreading the love as thick as we spread our biodegradable sparkle in the magic and secret gardens of the event. All topped up with the fabulous performances of Raven Mandella and Lucy Fizz to feast your gem adorned eyes. The Glitterbox team left the best to last and absolutely brought the disco house down! After 18 weeks of glittering the Glitterboxers from our 2 weekly glamstations we feel so proud and honoured to be part of the Glitterbox family for our 4th year.

Rumors Closing was the cherry on top of another amazing summer for us at the stunning Pacha Resort - Destino with the man himself Guy Gerber and our new favourite DJ Tennis - who played an amazing set at Circoloco closing at Dc10 a few days later. Such a special event! We will truly miss the unique Balearic vibe of Rumors; the uplifting tribalesque beats with the jaw dropping Dalt Vila backdrop looking out to sea. Nothing beats an open-air party, except an open-air party at one of the most exclusive resorts on the island with In Your Dreams biodegradable glitter and gems on top! :)

You wouldn’t be alone in thinking that all these closing festivities meant the party was over in Ibiza for 2018… but you’d be very wrong! The best party on the island and the highlight of our year is yet to come….HALLOWEEN!

In Your Dreams Ibiza kick off the freakish festivities a few days early to support The ABODE Project. We are so happy to be onboard with this incredible venture at theHUB; where we will have our glitter and gem glamstation at the Halloween Family Fun Day on 27th October. We are donating some amazing In Your Dreams products to the raffle - get down there for your chance to win! All funds raised go towards renovating an abandoned school and orphanage in Uganda. Following the event theHUB founders Sam and Abode Dj Kellie Allen will fly out to Uganda to work for 7 days around the clock with other volunteers making the buildings fit for purpose to provide the local children with shelter, food and education for free.

As for All Hallows Eve, October 31st - It’s time for all the wicked workers to celebrate the end of the summer with days on end of devilish debauchery! An island full of hedonists and creatives… you’ve never experienced anything like Halloween in Ibiza! Out-out for days; all of the island in incredible costumes at parties all over Ibiza.

Our In Your Dreams Ibiza team descend into darkness for one night only to host our IN YOUR NIGHTMARES Boutique at Mischief’s ‘Misbehave from the Grave’. After the terrifying and terrific first fiesta last Halloween, our favourite venue Atzaro becomes a haunted mansion for the second year of this wicked event. We are so excited to be a part of the best Halloween party on the island! Hattie captured this amazing video from last years.

Along with the resident Mischief makers: Tom Grimes, Blackbeard and Joshua they are joined by Clive Henry and Alex Arnout B2b, Smythy and many more at this incredible event. our room will be a nightmare come true complete with Halloween Make up artists, hairdressers, costumes and gore galore. Book in advance for your Halloween makeover in our In Your Nightmares boutique and/or hair styling/brading by the incredible Faye Browne from 3pm until 11pm - appointments are filling up already!
